Post Christmas, technically still on boxing day, I was a bit bored late at night and looking through videos on Amazon Prime. I spotted Secret Level, having seen clips of Warhammer on Youtube and thought I’d watch that on my 4K TV screen for kicks. But, I didn’t know it was a series! First episode running , and like 13 minutes in and I’m screaming, “It’s Tiamat!”
Daughter 2, quite unimpressed says flatly, “I don’t know who that is.” I’m like, “Queen of evil dragons! Chromatic dragons!” She goes back to her ipad, still unimnpressed. LOL.
I’ve got a whole series of wild things to watch now. Thanks Amazon!
Speaking of Christmas, our Christmas and Boxing day cooking went flawlessly and pressies were all well received . I got:
- A Fender CD-60SCE Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar, All Mahogany. I’ve been asking for one of these for half a decade!
- THE X-Man.
- A Smart Garden - with various fruit and veg seeds.
- A Buckley Belt - as I keep shrinking and have to keep replacing my belts.
- Lego - Minecraft Crafting Table - with a Lighting kit!
- Nice socks!
- A champagne Stopper.
- Badger Slippers.
- A guitar slide.
- Reese’s Pieces.
- A gift card for a Isolation Tank session in Reading. Looking forward to trying that!
The only rubbish part of this season is that I’ve got far less holiday/vacation than normal. I worked Monday, took Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off, but I’m working on Friday. I’ll not work on New Years Day next week, and also take off the 7th the week after as I’ve got my 10th tattoo that day.
And in other news:
- Work seems to be going well. My current client has a LOT of future work in the pipeline and I’m happy to keep doing it for them as long as they want to keep paying me!
- Still waiting for my new car. Or even news from Kia about it.
