This came from a camp I attended probably a decade ago. I’m saving it here to get it out of a text file on my laptop.

Chai

  • Red Bush tea bags
  • Water
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Cardamom Pods
  • Ginger
  • Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • Star Anise
  • Cloves

Takes , usually serves four people.

  1. Stick everything in a pan and simmer for 30 minutes or more. The amounts you put are according to taste. For a whole tea pot of water, try using 5 teabags, two thirds of a cinnamon stick, 7 or so cardamom pods, a scattering of cloves, 1 star anise and about 3 thin slices of ginger. Sweeten with condensed milk.
